Welcome to the Triangle Motel

Whether you are a returning or a first time Guest, we thank you for choosing The Triangle Motel. Things have changed a bit since we temporarily closed our doors on March 24, however we are now excited to welcome you back in a safe manner, beginning on June 22nd.

Guided by the recommendations from the CDC, WHO and OSHA we have implemented extra safeguards to ensure the health and safety of our Guests and staff during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

We are in the process of remodeling our lobby. The renovation will include a glass barrier between staff and Guests. We will implement a streamlined check in process, utilizing one use pencils, contactless credit card acceptance and hand sanitizer for Guests and staff. We will ask that you wait outside of the lobby until it is vacant from previous Guests checking in.

However, until that renovation is complete, we will only be doing contactless check in and check out. Please call ahead for reservations (989-463-2296).

Housekeeping services will be provided if you are staying three days or more. We do require that the room be vacant while we clean. Staff will be required to wear masks during this time. Should you need anything during your stay, we can be reached by dialing zero on your room phone and contactless delivery can be arranged.

With a small staff of 4, we have all reviewed the new practices for cleaning and disinfecting as we know that our health can affect your health and vice versa. We will monitor our health and will not work if we are sick or have been in contact with someone who is knowingly sick.

Housekeeping protocol will be to disinfect (with misters and electrostatic sprayers) the room after each Guest, thoroughly clean the room and disinfect once again as staff leaves the room. Rooms are disinfected with a hospital grade, CDC approved disinfectant on all carpets, curtains, upholstered chairs, beds as well as all hard surfaces, including TVs, remotes, phones, etc. We have removed the bedspreads from the rooms, as recommended by the CDC and have replaced them with a triple sheeting method, encasing the blanket, as an added safety feature.

We ask for your patience, understanding and respect for other Guests as we embark on a new way of doing business.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
